Dear Joshua Family Subscribers:
Tonight, i am posting this very important prayer initiative that came in from Lou Engle's ministry recently. It includes a meditation, reflection with an anointed prayer at the end.
When i pondered this, it brought a fresh anointing and realization of just how much the Lord is counting on His people to take a stand and to shape history with our obedience, intercessions and prayers.
It is not enough to be called of God, but each one who is, needs to step into that destiny and call through obedience, so that God will move to intervene in the affairs of mankind. And He plans to do this through His people who will co-partner with Him.
Each one of His true servants must take their places in this endtime mandate by literally interceeding and praying God's will into the earth. Now is the time to awaken out of sleep and to step into the calling of God.
(Not with lip-service only, but with following through and actually doing it)
I stand along with Lou and others in prayer, asking God to mobilize millions of believers around the world, to stand in the gap for the nations with on-going intercessions, prayers and fasting. Will you be one of them? Please write in and let us know!

THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD

MEDITATION:
“On this mountain He will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples and the veil that covers all nations...” – Isaiah 25:7
REFLECTION:
“If added power attends the united prayer of two or three, what mighty triumphs there will be when hundreds of thousands of consistent members of the church are with one accord day by day making intercession on behalf of Christ’s kingdom?” ~ John R. Mott
God is not randomly or haphazardly crashing into human history. He has initiated rules of engagement for His break-ins and breakthroughs. He does nothing until He can find a partner on earth with whom He can share His secrets and His intercessions.
His servants, the prophets, receive His message and through proclamation, fasting, and prayer, bring to earth what God is doing in Heaven. “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Earthlings must pray God’s will into the earth.Without these highly esteemed “earth beings” (remember Daniel), God will not intervene into the injustice and suffering of mankind.
Therefore, God looks for a man or woman, a human being with feet planted firmly on the earth, “I looked for a man to stand in the gap before for the land, but I found no one...” God looks for someone who will step out of his or her insecurity and unbelief and rise up as a co-equal partner in the divine council of heaven to haggle with God-to make decisions with Him on what the future will be on earth, who demands in prayer on earth what God demands in heaven.
This is God’s breathtaking view of man and history. We are called to shape history through prayer and fasting, and millions of these earth beings are stepping into their heavenly calling. It is all headed to the mountain of the Lord, Mt. Zion, where Christ himself will take up His throne and rule through His King priest ministry.
I believe we are in a day of the greatest prayer movement of history. The mountain of the Lord is being raised up again, and the scripture declare, “ On this mountain He will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples and the veil that covers all nations.”
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, You are the great awakener. Let prayer fill the heavens. Mobilize millions to fasting and prayer and rip the veil that blinds the eyes of the Muslim peoples from the revelation of the light and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Raise up the Mountain of the Lord in Israel. Restore the fallen tabernacle of David, that all the gentiles may seek the Lord.
